Hello:
Some of you might be more familiar with Prepaid Legal insurance than I am. I have a friend who is an associate with them. I am thinking about maybe buying a policy or becoming an Associate so I can save on legal costs when I am doing my real estate business. My father got a plan through his work but never had to use it.
I met one guy in Canada who says he pays nothing for services to his lawyer since he got a plan with Prepaid Legal. I live in Albany, NY. I think when I look at the plan it said I get certain basic services for free and other reduced costs.
Does anyone here have Prepaid legal? Does it really help you save money on your legal fees regarding REI?
I also read on another web site that lawyers in those plans may not necessarily work as hard as if they were getting there full payment. I am also thinking with this it does not necessarily mean you get to see whomever you want?
