On your fact sheet, what is the purpose of getting the 'mother's maiden name'?

That's the Default password for accessing the seller's information from the Lender. If the lender's system is automated (voice mail) it's usually the seller's SSN or the last four digits. You may have to know the mothers' maiden name is you speak to a Customer Service rep.

That IS probably good to know. Mortgage companies sometimes use the borrower's zip code as the identifyer. It's always good to be prepared.
