Steve,
There is a specific neighborhood that I just love here. It not a new neighborhood, but it's big and houses sell. It is also built around a fairly nice golf course. Right now, Megan and I are working on three deals in the neighborhood.

So, what I did a few days ago was look up ALL of the street names at Mapquest.com in the neighborhood. Then I reversed searched the street names to get the name and address of EVERYONE in the neighborhood (wheew) and sent them our mailer.

Is this the best way to spend my time? Probably not, but this neighborhood is something that I wanted to target specifically.
This isn't the best way to market by any means, but if you want to target a specific neighborhood...

I read your post and thought I would share.

If you want to save yourself some time then check out http://www.infousa.com You can buy a customized list for your area for as little as .05 per name (already printed on labels). You can select by estimated home value, income, age etc.

There are other businesses that offer this service as well.

Happy Investing!
