I told my buyer to call Austin Mortgage and tell them that the closing was way to high and not to do any of the paper work that we were going somewhere else......First closing cost of $5386.00 approx, new closing cost price $2,469.00..boy did this guy come down on cost fast!.....I have no idea if my buyer will use them or one of the banks in town (just got home, so I haven't talk to him again) BUT!! I wouldn't have known any of this if it hadn't been for all of you! Thanks Jackie and T.

If it were me - I would not want to do business with them again.

I'd take the loan elsewhere.

If they'll screw you once, they'll screw you twice.
