Oh well, another unmotivated seller for the books.

I don't know where you find your sellers, but I'm getting tired of spending money and only getting people calling about how they don't need to sell, just want to show me their great house.

Doug: Why not try using the ad that Matt uses. He has some excellent ones. It's too early for you to give up. The right ad will bring you more qualified sellers ... and, yes, you will still get those that just want to sell their house more quickly but are not motivated enough. How would you feel if you gave up on this and years later saw where you could have been successful if you'd only kept at it a little longer .... like three more months, for example. You are truly getting closer because you are learning as you go.

Hey Doug,

I'm putting together a small $20,000 limited partnership around a vending machine rought (oddly --and don't laugh as I did-- around gum balls). I've had to talk to 20 qualified people to get 3 commitments...and chances are by the time I go to sign the partnership agreement and get the money...bang...someone will back out, have a car wreak, etc. etc.

This is a numbers game as are all things.......
